Safe learning environment. XR enables exploring complex or dangerous environments in a safe space, like conducting virtual experiments or visiting archaeological sites.

Cost-effective & accessible. XR simulations can provide learning experiences too expensive, impractical, or impossible for a traditional classroom setting.

AR & VR in education

Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are two technologies that allow users to experience digital content in different ways.

VR creates a completely immersive digital environment that simulates a user’s physical presence in a computer-generated world. Users can interact with this world through specialized VR headsets, hand controllers, and other sensors.

In contrast, AR is a technology that overlays digital information onto the real-world environment, typically viewed through a smartphone, tablet, or smart glasses.

In education, virtual reality can be used to simulate science experiments or archaeological sites that might be difficult or impossible to access in the physical world.

On the other hand, augmented reality can create interactive textbooks where students can hover over a page with their smartphone and view 3D models of the concepts being discussed.

What our clients say

4Experience did a magnificent managing our needs and expectations. Their workflow was exceptional. Although the project grew as it progressed, 4Experience demonstrated an incredible ability to pack a lot of quality features in a rather narrow time frame.

The quality of the apps was outstanding. The team modeled every single detail with such accuracy that the simulations feel lifelike. They were always supportive and understanding, even with the large scope of work we entrusted them with.

Projects from our portfolio

MissionOne - submarine interior view

VR Soft Skills Training

For this project, we developed a VR soft skills training app aimed at improving communication and teamwork, leadership, and accountability culture in businesses.

The VR simulator takes place in a submarine and a helicopter during rescue missions and requires seven participants to attend. The app includes three different missions and tutorials, with a focus on extraordinary communication mechanics that put a strong emphasis on teamwork.

VR storytelling WW2

Interactive WW2 Storytelling in VR

For this project, we created a VR storytelling app for a Polish museum to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. We managed to create a lifelike historical experience that allows visitors to feel as if they were part of the events while capturing the essence of our client’s message.

This project shows the power of virtual reality to change the way we keep our memories and the importance of applying a broader perspective to evolve the world in a positive way.

An expert's opinion

How has extended reality already changed education?

One example is virtual field trips. Students can explore historical sites and natural wonders without leaving the classroom. This allows them to experience environments and situations that would otherwise be impossible to visit.

Additionally, XR technology enables educators to create simulations that mimic real-world scenarios, providing students with hands-on training and practical experience in a safe and controlled environment. This approach is particularly effective in fields like medicine and engineering, where mistakes can be costly or dangerous.
