During the update of one of the applications, it turned out that various elements of the application stopped working. The application was built in Unity 3D and operated based on Vuforia. Time was counting, because the company that had previously done the applications did not undertake this work, and it was very important for the customer that his product would be regained fitness and its operation was flawless.

After introducing the necessary changes and thoroughly testing the entire application, it turned out that its operation is not only 100% correct, but its effectiveness and graphic design have improved significantly. By scanning relevant pages, the screen of the smartphone shows models and animations that illustrate the story.

Process

During our conversations, the client informed us exactly about the problems that arose. We knew that there could be many more of them, not just those that were identified. We did not have detailed documentation, so we were working on the game design version of the current version. The list of changes that needed to be made was presented to the customer.

We wanted to ensure that any subsequent changes or updates did not cause similar problems in the operation of the application and were simple. In addition, the client decided that in the current situation we could still refresh application UI and optimize UX.

The way the application worked was very clear to us. We’ve done similar projects many times. The most difficult in such cases is always interfering with the code, because the way it is written and the actions that are responsible for are the individual practice of the programmer.
